Changes to university email login screen

During the Easter break, IT Services is planning to upgrade the Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS) system, which provides the login page for students logging into their university email account (Office 365).

At Queen Mary we are proud that we attract a very diverse student population. Over 90 per cent of our home students come from state schools, and more than 40 per cent are the first in their family to attend university. Bursaries are an important way of supporting students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, and as a university, we spend a significant amount of money on them every year. Bursaries are only one way we help widen participation in higher education. Other ways include raising the aspirations of school students from under-represented backgrounds, and supporting the progression, success and wellbeing of students while they are here with us.

Deadline to apply for ‘special examination arrangements’ – Friday 16 March

The deadline to apply for what are known as ‘special examination arrangements’ is Friday 16th March. It’s not guaranteed that any applications received after this date will be implemented before the main end of year exam period from Monday 30 April to Friday 8 June.

When you have your blood pressure measured, you will be given two numbers, systolic (top) and diastolic (bottom). Once you know your numbers, you can use our blood pressure chart to see what they mean and if your blood pressure is in the healthy range.

This year's campaign will take place from 7-13 September. It's all about knowing your blood pressure at home to feel in control.
