Happy Hanukkah!

The Jewish festival of Hanukkah began last Thursday 10 December and will end in the evening this Friday 18 December. Also know as the Festival of Lights, it is also spelled as Hanukka, Chanukah or Channukkah. Lasting eight days, it reaffirms the ideals of Judaism and commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple of Jerusalem by the lighting of candles on a special candlestick, the menorah, on each day of the festival.  

Library and Study Spaces: opening times over the holiday, revision and exam period

The Library and study spaces on campus will have different opening times over the holiday, then extended opening for the revision and exam period. Please check the opening hours and book your study space. 

When you have your blood pressure measured, you will be given two numbers, systolic (top) and diastolic (bottom). Once you know your numbers, you can use our blood pressure chart to see what they mean and if your blood pressure is in the healthy range.

This year's campaign will take place from 7-13 September. It's all about knowing your blood pressure at home to feel in control.
