Support for students over the Christmas period

The Advice and Counselling Service would like to wish you all a happy holiday. We understand that the Christmas break can be a difficult time for some, so we have provided a list of services that offer support, a chance to talk or an opportunity to connect with others.

Financial Assistance Fund 2018/19

Queen Mary has funding available for the current academic year to assist students in financial difficulties. All students are welcome to apply, however if you are in your final year and experiencing financial difficulties you will be considered one of the priority groups for assistance from the Fund.

    Queen Mary Wellbeing Fund - new for 2018/19

    If you are an undergraduate student starting on your first year with QMUL in 2018/19 and have been income assessed by Student Finance as having a household income between £20,000 and £42,600, you can apply for a contribution towards the costs associated with participating in societies, sports or undertaking volunteering opportunities.

    Apply for an AHRC doctoral training studentship with the London Arts and Humanities Partnership

    Come along to an information session on Wednesday 28 November on how to apply for an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) doctoral training studentship with the London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP).

    When you have your blood pressure measured, you will be given two numbers, systolic (top) and diastolic (bottom). Once you know your numbers, you can use our blood pressure chart to see what they mean and if your blood pressure is in the healthy range.
